Like Flowers
Like Flowers explores the connection between women and flowers through softness, strength, and transformation. Using photographs of my friends, I layered their bodies with floral imagery to compare the natural beauty and individuality of women to the delicate and graceful qualities of flowers. The transparent quality to the woven fabric creates a sense of movement, allowing the different motifs to blend into one another. This piece celebrates femininity, and growth.
