Still, Becoming

This piece explores the tension between fragility and persistence. A web-like knit stretches across the surface, suspended between control and snapping, evoking both protection and entanglement. Beneath it, the impression of lace trim pressed into clay show a delicate, almost domestic history, its pattern fossilized. The spray-painted lace teeters between presence and absence.

Still, Becoming reflects on transformation as a continuous process. Materials typically associated with softness and care are recontextualized, revealing their vulnerability and resilience.
