Yogi Alphabet, merino wool, 36x 40 inches, 2025
An exploration of movement, identity, and symbolism through a visual “alphabet” of yoga postures. This piece treats the human body as a form of language—each pose a letter, gesture, or expression within a greater visual text.

Orchidaria
These pieces feature scanned images from the book “Malayan Orchid Hybrids” by M. R. Henderson and G.H. Addison , originally published in 1956. I found this book at a vintage book shop in jacksonville, florida called Chamblins bookmine. I have always been fascinated with Orchid beauty and diversity. The archival botanical photographs serve as a foundation for exploring themes of preservation, and Hybridity. Modernistic preservation through woven art.

With this project, I wanted to explore the usage of elastic yarn and how it shrinks and molds the body.

Sea of Souls
I’ve always been an observer in spaces where faces are unfamiliar. I am
spellbound, imagining what each person has going on in their personal lives; what they go home to, or what their stories are.
Downtown brings people from all over the place. I stood on top of the parking garage near where I work , and captured people walking in a transitional space.
Holding briefcases, leftovers from restaurants, shopping bags. It is very telling what someone is doing in a city if you just look.
People walking in couples, groups, or walking alone.
Relationships are on display.
Astreet where people create a chaotic flow of shadows.
A street where people from hundreds of places merge in a state of disaray .
